The Quinny Zapp is a versatile baby stroller that provides style and substance in equal measure. The Zapp cartainly has a distinctive appearance, but it also has one distinct characteristic that sets it apart from every other stroller in its class:

  • The Quinny Zapp has the smallest folded dimensions of any model in its class.

Team the tiny fold of the Zapp with its out-of-this-world appearance, easy to manage swivel wheel configuration, and a light ergonomic frame, and the result is one of the most exciting and eye-catching strollers yet to hit the US market.

The lightness of the frame and maneuverability of the swivel wheels allow you to easily manage the Zapp with just one hand, and the locking mechanism for the front wheel makes more challenging terrains easier to deal with. The ergonomic frame of the Quinny Zapp folds down to a mere 27" x 10" x 11". With the exception of a cheapo umbrella stroller, folds do not get any smaller than that.

The Zapp also comes with a matching travel bag that allows you to easily carry or transport this 13 lbs stroller, wheels, frame, and all. Check 'Photos' tab below for some pics of the travel bag

  • The US version of the Quinny Zapp has dual front swivel wheels

The Quinny Zapp has these accessories included:

Bottom Line: If the stroller you're searching for is light, quick, stylish, and folds up into a tiny package, the Quinny Zapp is for you. Like the Micralite Fastfold FTS -- another 13 lbs. European stroller with an extremely small fold -- the Quinny Zapp could be thought of as a souped-up umbrella stroller.

Both the Zapp and the Micralite have fabric seats. The Micralite has a slight seat recline, while the Zapp has none at all. The lack of a seat recline is the Zapp's only notable limitation.

LIFE MADE EASY

I use the Quinny Zapp with my Maxi-Cosi infant car seat. The Zapp stroller is a smooth ride for my infant, while being impeccably stylish at the same time. Its easy to transport and even easier to set up with the car seat. The car seat just pops right in! I have really enjoyed the convience of this stroller. The only complaint that I have is that the underneath cargo basket has to be removed when in use with the infant car seat, so there isn't anywhere to put things if needs be. But overall I have really enjoyed this stroller!

strollin for the modern mommy

Not only does the Quinny Zapp look really awesome, sleek, modern, and innovative, it handles with precision and ease. I couldn't be happier with it. It is easy to put up and down. It is compact and fits in my trunk with tons of space to spare. I fully recommend this product to the modern mom on the go who wants to look chic while she carries shopping bags and wields her toddler to and fro.

When vanity is a family value

Zapp is a very nice piece of engineering and has a pleasing aesthetic look. It is elegant. Materials used are top notch as well. My only concerns were a weak plastic zipper that is being used for attaching the seat to the frame and the lack of the reclining function. If you buy this, you must know that you are buying it primarily for the looks. This is your "Sunday Afternoon Starbucks" stroller.

Great Travel Stroller

5
Reviewer: Debra , London UK Date: August 20, 2007
I love this little stroller. I use it to travel with and for quick little outings. It folds up so small that it can fit in the overhead of most flights which is great not having to gate check. I also use it on quick little errands - but not for long walks. There is no storage basket - but there are some people on Ebay that have created some that work. But the major plus with this is it folds up so compact and is so light. My son was out of the infant car seat when I got this - but the maxi-cosi one snaps in so easy with this one - which is also a big plus. I recommend it to all my friends as an additional stroller to the big jogging/everyday stroller that would be needed for longer walks and shopping!

I love it but is not the perfect stroller!!!

I bought the stroller for my 6 month old baby, the zapp has a unique look and every mom will look at it while you go on a walk with your baby. On the other hand you cant fold it with one hand, for moms that travel alone with their babies, make sure that someone will help you fold it. My baby looks happy and comfortable when we go for walks, but when he wants to fall asleep he doesn't seem happy cause it wont recline. I also think the basket it has is not big or comfortable enough and it doesn't come with a tray. I would recommend this stroller only for people that will use it for just short walks not for a long shopping day.

I love my Quinny Zapp. This stroller turns like a dream, pushes fantastic and looks great. My only complaint i that it takes two hands to fold. Once it is folded, it is very small. We also have a Volo, a Peg Perego and a Birtini. This is our favorite stroller to go out and about in. I was stopped once by a young man who said ~ I want that stroller....and I don't even have kids!

I love my Quinny Zapp; It's been the ultimate travel stroller. It's lightweight, easy to fold up and mannuever. You can carry it on board international air-flights if you put it into it's cover (as it goes un-noticed by the flight attendents then, and it fits in the overhead compartment). It's very multi-functional and the wheels stroll extremely well even on cobbled streets. My baby can grow with it and it is also well designed both functionally and asthetically. The only down side is that you cannot leave the stroller (remotely)unattended as it can easily tip over due to it's lightness (which is also it's wonderful appeal...the lightness); you always have to have your hands on the stroller when the baby is buckled in. My only other grievance is that there is no cargo space; a small inconvienance for now compact and light the stroller is. A GREAT buy. It works perfectly with the MAxi Cosi infant seat!
