Our Review of the Orbit Baby Toddler Car Seat
Orbit Baby continues its tradition of unprecedented travel convenience with the Orbit Baby Toddler Car Seat. The toddler seat fits children rear-facing from 15-35 lbs, and forward facing from 20-50 lbs and up to 49". The Toddler Car Seat installs both rear and forward facing in the car. It also docks onto the Orbit Base, the Orbit Stroller, and the Orbit Rocker. The included UV sunshade protects children on sunny days, whether strolling in the park or cruising the town.

Accumulate less stuff with Orbit Baby's modular approach to baby gear. Orbit's two toddler seats, the Toddler Car Seat and the Toddler Stroller Seat, are designed to extend the life of the Orbit Infant System. While both toddler seats dock onto the Orbit Stroller, the Toddler Car Seat is safe, sleek and sturdy, while the Toddler Stroller Seat is light, collapsible, and optimized for strolling. Parents new to the Orbit way of life will still benefit from the safety and convenience found in the Orbit Toddler Car Seat without having to purchase any extra parts for installation or use.
Installation: Like Orbit's Infant Car Seat, the Toddler Car Seat can be docked onto the Orbit car seat base at any angle for back-saving convenience, and then rotated to lock into the rear-facing position. Customers without an Orbit Infant System can purchase an Orbit Base separately, or they can install their Toddler Car Seat without an Orbit Base, with LATCH or vehicle seat belts alone. The Toddler Car Seat can be used rear facing on the Orbit Base* for children 15 - 35 lbs, or forward facing with the included braces 20 - 50 lbs and up to 49".
The upholstery is designed for easy access to installation clamps and a simple color-coded system allows parents to identify rear and forward facing belt paths with ease. Level indicators on the Orbit Base and braces help parents ensure a correct angle for rear facing installation. Additionally, the Toddler Car Seat's illustrated side labels have an informative quick reference guide for parents.
*Note: The Toddler Car Seat does not work with some older Orbit Base models. Orbit Baby will upgrade any base free of charge to Toddler Car Seat users. The Toddler Car Seat can also be installed without the Orbit Base. All Orbit Bases can be used with Orbit's Infant Car Seat.
Convenience: Parents can remove the upholstery and throw it in the washing machine without removing the restraint harness. In addition to the back-saving convenience of Orbit's SmartHub rotational interface, the Toddler Car Seat's sleek design includes a rear access panel that stores all its straps and belts while you carry it out of the car.

Unlike most convertible car seats, the Orbit Toddler Car Seat features a sun shade for UV protection on bright days, as well as an adjustable plush headrest.
Comfort: Children sit comfortably thanks to the adjustable headrest, which accommodates overnight growth spurts and a plush microfiber padded 5-point harness. The Toddler Car Seat's EPP foam-lined shell not only protects, it also cushions the ride. The removable sunshade is UPF 50+ and can be stored in the rear pocket.
