Our Review of the Joovy Caboose Ultralight
The Joovy Caboose Ultralight is a lighter and more compact version of the innovative Joovy Caboose tandem stroller. Like the original Caboose, the Joovy Caboose Ultralight offers parents with two children the unique option of having one or two riders. The Ultralight's car seat compatible front seat is comfortable and secure, and the rear ride-on seat is a padded platform for your older child to sit or stand while you all stroll together.

Parents have raved about the ultra-convenient Joovy Caboose since it was introduced, but a common complaint is the higher than average weight of the Caboose stroller. The new Joovy Ultralight stroller is only 21 lbs – making it 20% lighter than the original Joovy Caboose. The result is a stroller with the same versatility as the original Caboose, but even more convenient handling. The Ultralight stroller's front seat can accommodate a child up to 45 lbs, and the rear seat a child 2 ½ or older.
CONVENIENCE: Built on a light aluminum frame, the Joovy Caboose Ultralight is an easy to manage stroller that folds down flat for easy storage and transportation. Its most convenient features is the long list of compatible infant car seats (see below) and the second seat that allows a tired toddler to ride on the back when he or she gets tired of walking.
The Caboose Ultralight has a large underside storage basket and removable, washable fabrics, and foam handles for a more comfortable push.
PUSHABILITY: The Joovy Caboose Ultralight's 21 lbs aluminum frame makes this the easiest-to-push stroller in the Joovy family, and the narrow tandem design makes it easy to get the Ultralight through doors and cluttered aisle ways or sidewalks. For an extra degree of steering control, the front swivel wheels can be locked into a forward position.

BENEFITS FOR JACK OR JILL
The Joovy Caboose Ultralight is a great stroller for parents with a baby and a toddler, thanks to the rear ride on seat that allows older kids to stroll without feeling as if they are riding in a "baby seat" with their little brother or sister. The rear platform seat is safe, but easy to step up or down from. The younger kid in the front seat has an adjustable footrest and a handy snack and drink tray to keep them occupied.
SAFETY: The Joovy Caboose Ultralight is equipped with an adjustable 5-point harness in the front seat, and a 3-point harness on the rear bench seat. The weight max for the front seat is 45 lbs. The rear platform is designed for children at least 2 ½ years of age and less than 44? tall. The max combined weight for both passengers should not exceed 90 lbs.
COMFORT FEATURES: The Ultralight stroller has an extra large canopy for the front rider's shade, and a two position recline for the seat for when your baby nods off. The seat fabrics are soft and colorful, and the rear platform seat is padded for your big kid's comfort.
COMPARISON
There are only two strollers you can compare the Joovy Caboose Ultralight to, and that?s the original Joovy Caboose (same basic features, but heavier and with a higher overall weight capacity) and the Joovy Big Caboose. The Big Caboose is a two seat tandem stroller with Joovy's signature ride-on platform in the rear, making it a three passenger stroller - perfect for parent's with twins and one older child.
All three of these Joovy strollers are car seat compatible.
