Our Review of the Combi Cosmo DX stroller

The Combi Cosmo DX Stroller is the stroller to take baby out for grand city adventures. With car seat compatibility, the Cosmo DX Stroller from Combi features everything expected in a stroller with extras for both baby and parent, including a toddler foot rest, washable padded seat cushion, and a deep recline for infants. The Cosmo DX accommodates children up to 55 lbs.

Benefits for Mom & Dad: Featherweight at only 13.2 lbs, the Combi Cosmo DX is a cinch to lift into a trunk or maneuver up curbs. Folding compactly and featuring a carry strap, the Cosmo DX transports easily from home to car to mall. Add the compatible Combi Shuttle, and go anywhere without waking baby.

Convenience: The Cosmo DX features a simple tri-fold that opens easily with one hand. Transporting the stroller is a breeze thanks to the convenient carry strap. The easy access storage basket offers a place to put odds and ends, and whatever you might have picked up while shopping.

Mom and dad sip their favorite coffee drink easily with the included cup holder. Washable seat padding makes for easy cleanup and keeps your stroller looking tidy.

Pushability: The front swivel wheels corner store aisles like a dream, while the independent wheel suspension system smoothes out the bumps. While not adjustable, the high handle keeps tall parents comfortable.

Compatibility: Compatible only with the Combi Shuttle. The Cosmo DX features fashions to match the Shuttle.

Safety:

  • 5-point harness
  • Rear wheel foot breaks

Benefits for Jack or Jill: Kids like going out and about with mom or dad when they're sitting comfortably in the luxuriously padded seat. An adjustable European style canopy shades baby on sunny days, while a removable guardrail with washable fabric gives baby a place to put their hands.

Comfort: A deep reclining seat means the Cosmo DX works for infants and napping toddlers alike. The seat cushion is covered in air mesh for ventilation, keeping all kids comfortable no matter how hot the day. An independent suspension system gives baby a jostle-free ride.

Comparison: For parents of different heights, consider the Combi Helio, which features a rust-proof aluminum frame. The Helio also includes handy extras, like a diaper bag for extra storage and child cup holders on the guardrail. Like the Cosmo DX, the Helio is compatible with the Combi Shuttle

Great light weight stroller

Reviewer: Yasmin , Fremont, CA Date: February 05, 2007
This is a great light-weight stroller, which is really easy to maneouver. Also very simple to adjust the seat for reclining. Only drawbacks are that the storage compartment below is very small, and I would have preferred handle bars so that you can hang a bag or two from the bars. But if you are heading anywhere except the mall, I would definitely recommend this stroller

this is the best stroller i have purchased! i first bought the graco quattro tour...it didnt fit well in my trunk..so we decided to buy the graco mosaic..big mistake. then i found this stroller...and my baby loves it (shes 16months) she actually stays put in it..its easy to manuver around stores (cuz people dont move for people with strollers....as i had that happen with both gracos..) at least with this stroller you can easily manuver around people in a crowded area. we used this @ disneyland..it was perfect! it folds up so small too..great for travel..lightweight to carry around (might i add it has a carry strap too!) ...i give this a 5-stars easy!

Excellent lightweight stroller

We were looking for a light weight yet durable stroller to take our 5 month old on her first overseas trip -- to Singapore and Thailand. Most strollers we saw were either too heavy or too fragile. Not the Combi Cosmo. Great color. Light weight (under 12 pounds). Wonderful shoulder strap. Easy to manouver whether in ancient Thai temples or in swanky Singapore malls. Felt so stable after the baby seat carrier she used to use! And for the many flights and the 'Lost in Translation' moments in hotel lobbies, our daughter loved it! Picture her at 2:30 in the night making her way in her hip lime green stroller from the hotel lobby to the coffee shop, squealing in delight as she smiled at one and all. Excellent design; good convenient and accessible storage; a cup-holder. And it withstood all the flights and baggage handlers as well. It reclines well. So stable, I'm tempted to use it as our everyday, regular stroller.
