Combi Zeus 360 Convertible Car Seat Description

Getting your little one in and out of their convertible car seat has never been easier, thanks to Combi’s innovation. As the name suggests, the Combi Zeus 360° is able to rotate 360 degrees, which allows you easy access from any direction when loading and unloading your child, and means no re-installation when you move your little one from rear to forward-facing. This convertible car seat also features some added safety perks such as anti-rebound protection, red and green indicators on the buckle to confirm it’s locked and side impact protection.

Standout Features:

  • Rotates 360 degrees without re-installation
  • Includes an anti-rebound protection in the attached car seat base
  • Accommodates children rear-facing up to 33 lbs
  • Buckle features red/green indicators to confirm secure lock

Benefits for You: Don’t strain yourself climbing in and out of your vehicle when loading and unloading your precious passenger from their car seat. Simply flip a lever on the base and another on the seat and rotate the Combi Zeus 360 to face you. Once you’ve got them latched or unlatched just rotate the seat back to its rear- or forward-facing position. Use the same levers to recline the seat. When the time comes to switch your child from rear-facing to forward-facing, the 360 degree rotation makes that transition effortless and requires no re-installation. Another benefit of the 360 degree rotation is having full access to the back of the seat when re-threading the harness.

This convertible car seat features anti-rebound protection in the car seat base, which stabilizes the seat for rear-facing infants in the instance of front and rear collisions, and EPS lining in the seat, which offers side impact protection in the instance of side impact collisions. The Tru-Safe Buckle gives you peace of mind with the red and green indicators that confirm a secure lock when latching your little one into their seat.

Installation: Install the Combi Zeus 360° using either your vehicle’s seat belts or the car seat’s LATCH connectors. The Zeus 360 includes built-in lock-offs for a more secure and easier installation when using your vehicle’s seat belts.

The Zeus 360 can be installed in the rear-facing position from 5-33 lbs, and in the forward-facing position from at least 1 year old and 20 lbs up to 40 lbs.

Benefits for Baby: The Combi Zeus 360 accommodates your little one up to 33 lbs rear-facing. However, it has a low harness weight of 40 lbs in the forward-facing position. This convertible car seat features a 3-position height adjustment with a maximum height allowance of 40 inches.

With a 2-position recline the Zeus 360 adjusts to give your child the most relaxing ride possible. The 5-point safety harness features padding for comfort and to ensure the snuggest fit possible. An adjustable infant insert is included to appropriately position your newborn to the recommended 45 degree angle.

Safety:

  • Anti-rebound base
  • 5-point harness
  • Meets or exceeds FMVSS 213

  • Tru-Safe Side Impact Protection (EPS)
  • Tru-Safe Buckle with red/green indicator
  • EPS energy absorbing foam

Comparison: Currently, the only other convertible car seat we carry that offers anti-rebound protection is The First Years True Fit Premiere. Although the True Fit Premiere doesn’t feature a 360 degree rotation like the Combi, it does have a higher forward-facing harness weight limit of 65 lbs, which paves way for an overall longer life span of the seat.

If the rotation is what you love most about the Combi Zeus 360, check out the Orbit Baby Toddler Seat. When docked into the Orbit Baby Base the Toddler Seat can rotate around and lessen the strain on your back. However, when used with the rotating base the Toddler Seat can only be used in the rear-facing position. This Toddler Seat features higher rear- and forward-facing weight limits, and can be used with the Orbit Baby Stroller, but does not include anti-rebound protection like the Combi.

I bought this car seat for my child care program. I have two baby boys who use it at different times. It is easy to adjust and fits both boys with no problems. One baby is 7 months and the other is 15 months. They both love playing 1-2-3-spin the baby! This seat is very large, but it fits in the middle row of my minivan just fine. I love that I can rotate the seat half way and the older children can slip past it to get into the back row. It also is great when we have to wait somewhere, the seat can be rotated around so Baby can see whats going on and then 1-2-3 spin the baby back around and go! This seat is worth every penny!!

I was nervous ordering this online that it would be way to big for our car (volvo wagon) but it fits great! My 7 mo. old daughter is so comfortable in this seat and so happy because it sits up higher than most car seats so she can see out the windows but it is still short enough that I can see out all the windows. I was also very impressed with the safety features like the anti-rebound base and true side impact protection. My only complaint is that I love this seat so much and will be taking it on airplane travel but it will be difficult because it is heavy! However it is pretty easy to move from car to car and fits next to larger car seats easily because the base is narrower near the seatbelt.

I wanted this carseat to work so bad! The turn feature is awesome, but the base makes the carseat SOOOO big it blocks my view (Jeep Commander) It also seems like my 6mo old son (18lbs)will grow out of the straps soon. It was also broke from shipping but I decided to install it and check out the features to see if I wanted to return it and get another, I think I will return it and try the much smaller Maxi Cosi! Combi needs to work on this to make the base smaller. The rest of the carseat is very nice! I wish it fit better :(

I just received this car seat, and I am thrilled with it. It is WONDERFUL to not have to contort your body to put your little one into the seat! It was easy to install by myself, too. It is on the large side, but I like that, because it feels like something substantial to protect my precious little one. (It actually fits fine in the Volvo XC90, but better forward facing, than rear). It is super padded and comfy, and the baby (just turned one) LOVED his first ride! Can’t say enough great things about it! Absolutely worth the money!!!

    great concept

I really like this carseat, we just had twins that were 4 pounds when born & they fit just fine in the carseat with the insert. I am very short & drive an SUV (Pathfinder) so it is great to turn the seat to get the babies in and out! However, the seats are HUGE!!! With them in the rear facing position, we can not move the front driver or passenger seats back to a comfortable position. My husband is 6 foot tall & can no longer drive my Pathfinder until we turn the seats to a rear facing position… just something to think about.

I have a Mini Cooper Convertible and this seat is great for us! I load my little one in and then spin him around to rear facing position. Short of selling the car, I don’t know what I would have done without this!

I have been very happy with this seat. Love the convenience of turning the seat to load & unload my 8 month old in my SUV. It is quite large, though. We only have one child so he has the whole seat to himself!

    Great Seat

I love the seat, and so does my 9 month old. I think the only problem with this seat is that it is HUGE! I drive a Cadallaic Escalade, the seat is in the middle of the back seat and (she is rear facing right now) I can barely see over the top of the seat through the rear view mirror and forget about seeing the passengers on either side of the seat.
