Got this booster for our 5 year old. I liked this one because of the latch connectors to keep it locked into place so it would not slide around the backseat making it difficult for the little one to sit down and get buckled in by herself. It pops right in,and has a nice release “cord” in front. Fantastic for moving it to grandparents’ cars! It looks to be made very well (I am a freak about quality of construction), but most of all, our daughter loves it. Got the pink one in my wifes car and the black one in mine. My only complaint would be that cupholders would be nice.

When I came across this booster seat I was beyond excited!! My husband has a 1996 Eagle Talon TSI which has difficult bucket seats. For the life of me, I could not find a single product that would work with his vehicle, that is until I found this website and seat!! First of all we decided on the cameo pattern which my son thought was awesome. When we received the Clek Olli I was so pleased that it fit perfectly! I would recommend this product to anyone, especially if your car/ truck has bucket seats.

I just ordered number 3 and 4. 1 and 2 are in Dad;s convertible and are sooooooo perfect! I am trading in my Volvo with built in boosters and these are the first extras that were a MUST for my new car! My girls are 5 and 6 and they LOVE the seats! We have leopard print and have now ordered the treehouse camo! I am so glad that I discovered these booster seats. Besides being adorable they are quite functional. The best part is that once installed they do not move! Until you pull the release and then they are out of the car in about .5 of a second. They are also easy to tote for play dates etc. Like I said above these are a MUST!

Today I had my 4 year old jump into his 6 year old brother’s clek olli seat just to see how it would fit. I had assumed that he wouldn’t be tall enough for the shoulder belt to not be on his neck – much to my delight and surprise the belt was positioned BETTER on him in the olli seat than it had been in his high back booster. I came right home and ordered another one. We have loved the olli seat for our older son because of how well it fits our ’02 toyota sienna, and how well the belt position sits on our son. It is so easy for him to use and transfer to other vehicles. The added bonus is that my four year old can also buckle himself unassisted, which he couldn’t do in his high back booster. Worth every penny for both kiddos! Our daughter will eventually have one as well I’m sure.

About 1 1/2 years ago, we purchased two (one for each car) Olli seats for our oldest son. Now our younger son is ready for his, so we just purchased two more! The easy in and out latch design is so nice. I wish it were that easy to install all car seats. I also really like the cushion. You can’t find any other booster with that much cushion, and who wants to ride on a hard surface?! Elitecarseats.com was wonderful as well. I ordered the seats on a Monday morning and had them on my doorstep at 4:00 the next day. I would recommend the Clek Olli booster seat and elitecarseats.com to anyone and everyone!

The seat is well designed and exactly as advertised. My son likes it and it’s comfortable. He’s turning 7 next week and prefers the backless belt-positioning booster to a harness booster (like I prefer). We have the Safecargo seats for travel, and I was very happy with those as harness seats. They also attach with LATCH as a backless booster, and have decent cushioning, but my son cannot easily buckle and unbuckle himself, so he doesn’t like it as much. Also, he is now just a bit too tall in the torso for the Safecargo harness system. The Olli’s arm rests are higher and give him easier access to get in and out of the car himself. I like that the Olli positions him higher than the other backless boosters we’ve had (a Cosco freebie from ToysRUs, and the Safecargo) so the belt is positioned better. It is also an inch thicker (5″) at the end under his knees which leans him back into the seat more and prevents him from leaning or sliding forward in the seat, and again keeps the lap belt in a better position.
My only problem with the Clek Olli is that the rigid LATCH system does not work in all vehicles. Being “rigid” it is not adjustable at all – it is a permanent standard width. Unfortunately that means I cannot use this seat with the LATCH attached in my husbands’ Honda Accord Hybrid. This is more of a reflection of a poorly designed LATCH system in the Honda than on the Clek booster seat. I believe Honda did this specifically because of the side impact airbags. The Honda design team located their lower anchors towards the middle of the two outer seats. You cannot put a seat with ridgid (non ajustable) LATCH in the middle seat. Also the seat belt is located between the two lower anchors for each outer seat, so you cannot attach a belt positioning booster with LATCH and use the vehicle seat belt. I could use the seat without attaching the lower anchors, but that was a feature I really wanted, and it seems to be something the Honda design team was trying to avoid, probably for safety. The Clek Olli works perfectly in my Jeep which is designed better. I could also fit 3 Cleks across the back of my Liberty if I needed to do that. My younger son is very small for 5, and still needs a harness booster seat, so we aren’t ready for another Olli yet, but it would allow me to safely transport an extra friend.

Just received my 6 year old’s leopard Olli – what a nice booster! We both appreciate everything about it. I had done a lot of research going into this seat and comfort, safety and style were all tops on my list. The seat is a great height for seatbelt fit. The seat bottom is very cushy – much better than a thin slip of fabric over a plastic base. The LATCH is very convenient and the quick release is a nice touch. And what’s not to love about a cute leopard print?! Very nicely done, Clek! And we can’t forget the order & shipping – very easy & very quick! We’re very satisfied customers.
Perfect!
Plus my son says it’s way more comfortable than the Graco low back booster we were using in the meantime.

We needed a low-back booster for our 6-1/2 year old to avoid the blind spot caused by the Compass B510 in our BMW 328i convertible. We ordered the clek olli and it fits PERFECTLY. The LATCH secures it so well, and it fits like a dream in the bucket seat. A high-back booster would be my preference, but having the driver be able to see out the rear window is sort of important for *all* the passengers

I have been searching for a backless booster for our car w/a bucket back seat. All the other boosters tended to cover up the seatbelt buckle but the slim design of the Olli works great! If you are having trouble finding a backless booster I recommend you try this one…awesome! Also, this is my 3rd order from elitecarseats.com, you won’t find a company that does a better job than them!

We switched to this booster shortly after our son turned 6. For the most part the seat is great. It’s firm but comfy with high armrests that also make it easy to get the lap portion of the seatbelt on easily. He’s able to pop it out and move it to another seat if he wants. The hooks for the LATCH work perfectly in our Toyota’s and also tuck easily in Grandma’s car without LATCH. Having the seat hooked makes it a little safer and comfy because it’s always in a consistent spot. The only negative about this seat is the LATCH anchors aren’t adjustable. So in some positions in our van there are a few inches between his tush and the seatback. Since he’s so tall, it works out just fine. For a smaller child their tush might hang off the back a bit. The color matches perfectly in the van as well. See if you can try it out in your car first before purchasing.

We love this seat for our daughter! She rides in our two different cars all the time with it. Although it uses a ridgid LATCH system it is so easy to remove from the vehicles (2007 VW Touareg and 2008 Acura TL) and securely clicks back in place. Also very important is the fact that when she is not in the seat, because it is fastened to the LATCH anchors, the seat does not become a projectile in the event of a sudden stop or accident causing harm to me or my husband in the front seat! Our daughter loves that her bottom and legs are always comfortable. She is at the in-between stage where she doesn’t want to feel like a baby in a high-back seat but still needs the extra boost to make the seat belt fit properly. The carrying strap it comes with has made taking it in the airport easy to travel with too — just sling it over your shoulder! All are happy in our family! Thanks clek!

I have a 2005 Volvo S40, which has “bucket” style seats in the back. We have struggled with the right “fit” for a booster, and all seats we have tried didn’t fit flat on the contour of the seat, and would lean to one side. I was concerned if this seat would be right for us, and I procrastinated on ordering it, but all in all I have been pretty happy with it. It fit well in the slope of the seat base in the vehicle, and sits flush with the contour. However, it is just a bit too wide at the seatback, and we cannot get the seatbelt to connect in the fastener made for that seat, which is the only thing that kept me from giving this product 5 stars. The strap and carrying bag that came with it are a nice addition, and we look forward to being able to easily transport the seat with them during travel. Thanks for making a “better” product for us with smaller, sportier vehicles!

At a local car set check I was told my son was too big for his booster seat, but too small for an adult belt. At 5, he is already 52″ tall, 70 pounds and very broad in the shoulders. After A LOT of searching, I found the Olli. It is fantastic!!! My son loves it and it is very easy to put in and take out (we have a 2004 Mazda MPV). The latch is secure and easy to use, and seat is stylish and comfortable. I will be getting another one for my 4 year old.

I am so disappointed! I wanted this booster to work so badly for my son, but when I installed it in the rear bucket seat in my 2003 Chevy Suburban, it sat about three inches away from the back of the vehicle seat. This created quite a large crevice, and my son’s tailbone ended up right in this space. That meant that the rest of his bottom actually sat on the hard plastic outer shell of the booster seat, instead of on the soft center part. I don’t know if the LATCH anchors just sit too far forward in my Suburban’s seats, or what, but this booster definitely didn’t work for me. I really wish it had…it is a beautifully-made seat, and my son was so excited about it!

We have purchased many car and booster seats for our two boys over the years, primarily due to the fact that they do not hold up and or are very uncomfortable. And I must say that the Clek Olli booster seat has had positive reviews from the person that counts, the one it was purchased for. No more complaints of legs pains, sore bottoms, not staying in place, and so on. I love the fact that the seat clips in and that the seat cover comes off relatively easy for washing. Based on the all the money spent on the ALL of the other seats, this one was quite a bargain.

This is one of the best purchases I have made in car seats. I have two Recaro Start seats in the wife’s car, but I needed something that was easy to take in and out as needed and this fits the bill. Best it is convenient and also built with comfort for the child using it. I will be buying a second one shortly and have been telling all my friends with kids about it.

I have a 2008 Ford Mustang and have had a VERY difficult time finding a booster that would fit the back seats. I’ve tried two Graco models, an expensive Compass (as recommended on a Mustang forum) and happened to run into this seat… It is absolutely a PERFECT fit for my small backseats. Neither of the GRACO models fit at all, and the Compass would only work if my son buckled his seat belt into the seat next to him, not his own, and the compass took up so much room that he could barely move his feet around. The CLEK is perfect for narrow sportscar seats, and my son is very comfortable in it. I feel very safe with the LATCH attachments. Very happy to have found this seat!

I got this seat yesterday and already love it! I love the fact that it latches into the car and when my daughter gets out, the seat doesn’t slide forward like our old one. The graco one didn’t work for her, the seatbelt fell in the wrong place and that could be dangerous. This seat is perfect for us. She of course picked the bubblegum pattern and it’s so cute! The fabric is a really soft material and alot of padding but still firm to support her. I too wish it had a cup holder but not my top priority! It’s about time someone thought of a booster that attaches to the car. Can’t go wrong with this seat and it’s worth the money! My daughter is so excited to sit in just a bottom booster now. She’s almost 7 years.

The olli booster seat fit perfectly in my 2007 Honda minivan and easily locks into place. The kids like it better than the Graco b/c it is more comfortable. On the negative side, I wish it had a cup holder and it DID NOT fit into my husband’s 2004 Lexus. For ease of installation and safety, it is a 5 star product that could be improved.

The solid latch security, with its easy insertion and release, makes this seat stand out so far above the rest. And, the first comment from a granddaughter was: “It’s so soft!” The combination of comfort for the kids and safety assurance for parents/grandparents is absolutely worth the price. An added benefit: the seats have an attractive and natural look in the car.

This car seat is well designed. It is very comfortable for our 5 year old daughter. She absolutely loves this car seat. The bottom is wrapped in cloth to avoid damaging leather seats. The seating surface is well padded, unlike our previous car seat which was a thin layer of cloth over a hard plastic base. Best of all, it blends in perfectly with our car’s interior.

Although our petite 4 & 6 year olds are in a Radian 65 (larger-size 5-point harness) carseat in our SUV, we couldn’t fit those carseats in our smaller, convertible car and had no choice but to explore the backless boosters. Although we were thrilled to find this one with the LATCH attachments, and were able to install the seats in seconds flat, the car’s seat belt buckles are positioned too close to the LATCH attachments, making buckling the seatbelt impossible for my husband and I to do, let alone our kids. We’re hoping to find a seat belt extension to raise the buckle and be able to use this otherwise seemingly fabulous seat. Be cautious if you have a small backseat with stationary buckles, as it might be too close to work and you’ll have to get a seat belt extender, if your car manufacturer makes one.

My twins love their booster seats. I needed seats that were safe, secure, & comfortable for our long road trips – clek olli seats are perfect. Clek olli seats are easy to install & remove; they safely secure into the LATCH anchors or can be used in non-LATCH seats; they are comfortable & practical. If you can afford the extra cost, these are the best choice.

After much research, we purchased two of these seats for our twins (They could each pick out their own cover pattern!) and are even more pleased than we anticipated. The seats look very well made, sturdy, and stylish…much nicer than any others I’ve seen in stores. They click easily in place (installation literally takes seconds and couldn’t be any easier!), stay in place, and can be easily changed to another vehicle. Our boys are comfortable and love these seats! I debated on whether to get a seat with 5-point harness, as our boys are just 4 years old now, but one of them was not staying in his old seat with harness…he kept unbuckling the top. With the Clek, he stays buckled in and doesn’t mind it because he has some freedom of movement with the regular seat belt. I also love that you can change the seat cover and it’s easily washed. We had Britax seats prior to these, and while they are great seats for younger kids, they are very bulky and difficult to clean or move to another vehicle. Now there is so much more room in the backseat. We’re very happy with the Clek seats…very nice and worth the extra cost.

I shopped around everywhere for a comfortable, safe booster seat for my 4 year old and couldnt find one. The boosters had really thin cushioning in the seat (very uncomfortable), they didnt have the latch option, I didnt like that a regular booster seat slides around. I also noticed on the booster seats i bought and took back, that my daughter was sitting to low (the belt came to her neck) and my 4 yr old is the size of a 5-6 yr old, the clek olli sits higher up and the belt comes to where its suppose to. The clek olli booster seat is so great. I like everything about it. Its very comfortable, safe, and cute. My daughter loves it and so do I. The cushioning is thick, you cant feel any hardness, and the latch system keeps it tightly in place. I know that my daughter is safe, secure, and comfortable with this booster. It is so worth the money. This is also a great place to order from. The pink camo booster was back-ordered and i was told that it could take 2 wks, but it only took a few days.

i bought this seat for each of our two children (ages 4 & 5) for play dates and as a travel seat. they use a full back booster full time. i have trouble installing full size car seats/boosters and always must rely on my husband for installation of the heavier items. the olli clek is so simple even i can install. i feel confident sending my kids off with other people for play dates knowing they too will have no problems with install in their vehicle. the kids find it very comfortable as well.
